When providing our services and operating our websites, we process some personal data.

 

The processing of personal data is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (“GDPR”).

I. Processing of personal data

A. Processing of personal data when using the contact form

If you contact us in connection with our products and services, we will work with your contact details that you provide to us, mainly via the contact form. These are personal data in the following scope: name, e-mail address.

 

For what reason?

Based on the personal data sent, we will subsequently contact you in connection with our offer of goods and services.

 

On what legal basis?

This is processing based on Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR - performance of the contract, or taking measures prior to concluding the contract at your request.

 

If you do not provide us with this personal data, we will not be able to communicate with you for the purpose of concluding a contract for the delivery of our goods or the provision of our services.

 

B. Processing of personal data in the event of a purchase

 

If you make a purchase from us, we will process the personal data we need from you to ensure the conclusion of a contract for the provision of our goods or services. These are mainly billing data: name, surname, address, e-mail address, phone number.

 

For what reason?

We need to process personal data in order to fulfill our obligations arising from the contract - delivery of goods. Using the contact details, we will also communicate with you about the status of your order, or regarding complaints or your questions.

 

We will further process personal data to fulfill our obligations arising from generally binding legal regulations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, or for handling complaints.

 

On what legal basis do we process personal data?

This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR - performance of the contract and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR - fulfillment of our legal obligation.

 

If you do not provide us with this personal data, we will not be able to conclude a contract with you for the delivery of our goods or the provision of our services.

 

C. Newsletter (commercial communication)

 

If you have purchased goods or services from us and have not expressly refused to receive marketing communications, we will use your email address to send you our marketing communications. If you no longer wish to receive our marketing communications, you can unsubscribe at any time via email or contact us at the following email address: eshop@vapak.eu

 

On what legal basis?

This is processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interests, which are marketing communications targeted at our customers.

 

II. Who will have access to the data?

Your personal data will remain with us. However, some companies or other persons work for us and have access to your personal data because they help us with the operation of our e-shop. They are:

We process personal data only within the EU.

 

III. Use of cookies

IV. Your rights in relation to the processing of personal data

The GDPR gives you, among other things, the right to contact us and request information about what personal data we process about you, to request access to this data and have it updated or corrected, or to request restriction of processing, you can request a copy of the personal data being processed, to request the erasure of personal data in certain situations, and in certain cases you have the right to data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.

 

The Participant may exercise these rights by sending an e-mail to the Operator at eshop@vapak.eu, or in writing to GPR spol. s r.o. Rybničná 40/E, 831 07 Bratislava. The Operator is obliged to respond within 30 days of receiving such a request. In such a case, the Operator has the right to request proof of the Participant's identity. The request for access to personal data must therefore be sent from the applicant's registered e-mail address.

 

The data subject has the right to contact the Office for Personal Data Protection (https://dataprotection.gov.sk/uoou/sk).
